DNI
usual dni, support israel & russia's actions, have serious beef with any haikyuu character... , think ochako uraraka is a pick me

before you follow i post my opinions a lot, i'm multifandom depending on what i'm interested in at that moment, even tho i'm an art account i like to repost & tweet stuff unrelated to art/my art (tho usually it is about my fandoms), will follow back most fandom based accounts esp if we have common interests, 16 so obviously a minor (for 🔞 accounts)

trying to engage in more subtwts! especially for asoiaf, haikyuu, books & kny! also open for talking at anytime - even tho i am awkward! and if i'm doing something wrong please tell me and i'll correct it as best i can!

updating as i read from this point on... but lowkey in my illiterate phase please be patient! (i also don't finish books i don't like so there probably won't be negative reviews... uh my b).. also includes rereads & books for my alevel courses!

of jade and dragons by amber chenread while travelling, super interesting & absolutely loved! i couldn't really tell if maybe the book was too fast paced or if i was reading too quickly... but would read again!21/07/24 - 21/07/24
sisters of sword and shadow by laura batesabsolutely loved, i love arthurian legends & seeing a complex women in that role, as a knight and more was really interesting! i don't have the sequel but i'm gonna keep an eye out for it from now on24/07/24 - 25/07/24
yellowface by r. f. kuangvery interesting, as an exploration of loneliness and isolation and madness & a criticism of performativity, i was really hooked and compelled to finish it even tho i wanted an early night lol. plus i love when criticisms and theories and concepts are written into fiction, because i love fiction!06/10/24 - 06/10/24
a streetcar named desire by tennessee williamsthe only school book i've actually formally read so far... it's themes are complex and interesting, but obviously it was a play so not an enjoyable read, and the xenophobic undertones and pro-antebellum south narrative that is underlying in the incredible sympathy built for blanche dubois, who doesn't deserve what ultimately happens to her but who does represent the slave owning south is more than a little off-putting. the analysis of it in class is something i'm enjoying tho so!10/09/24 - 07/10/24
gwen & art are not in love by lex croucheri lowkey loved the twist on enemies to lovers where they acc didn't want each other, and i cheered when gwen rode out for battle. and i lovee arthurian references soo much... totally worth ignoring my sister all day to read it!28/10/24 - 28/10/24
last night at the telegraph club by malinda lothis was a reread but i bring it every holiday to read... i love the build to kath & lily's love but also the issues w lesbianism contemporary to the time... i love historical fiction! i was also really interested in the insight into the treatment of chinese americans in the 1950s and american politics at the time, i actually found it really educational!29/10/24 - 29/10/24
she who became the sun by shelley parker-chananother reread bc i recently bought the sequel, and i'd totally forgotten how good it was. every pov character is so interesting and complex, and the language is so masterful, it's one of my absolute favourites ever.30/10/24 - 30/10/24
he who drowned the world by shelley parker-chanthe sequel to swbts... i saw it in the shop and knew i had to get it after i remembered the first book, and it totally lived up to my expectations. it was a perfect sequel, and i felt so connected to characters i even resented a bit in the first book, and zhu's character development was so satisfying!!31/10/24 - 01/11/24
troy by stephen fryif you can't tell from my personality, i'm obviously a huge mythology buff esp greek mythology (bc it's the easiest to access) and i really loved this! i felt like it was factual, informative and had a dry sense of humour running throughout. while a lot of the footnotes were fry promoting his other books, i think they'll probably be interesting reads so. it obviously worked! i'm probably gonna read them..! (i actually skyved my alevel maths class to read this so.. my education was put at stake for this book. to give u an idea)14/11/24 - 15/11/24
